Long Beach Adventures

Wow!! What fun we had this past weekend! I am so thankful that I was able to bring my family with me to Long Beach to help support me as I ran, the kids had so much fun. Although George and the kids weren't quite able to make it to the all (yeah, they didn't get the memo about the traffic and closed off roads) they all had a great time. The weather was perfect and spirits were high.

Now, about the run... I think a half marathon is more my cup of tea...or diet, caffeine free soda I mean. It was so much fun to participate with Jill again and Tommy for the first time. He's quite the coach and pumped up our spirits the last two miles. I kept getting chills as I was pushing through thinking about why we were there and that we were ooh, so close.

Great times.......

Again, I am so proud of you! Running at our age! I feel so old. I have to get in shape! Maybe you can help me.

I know Ricky was up there watching just beaming down on his brother!
